How we farm
Earthen tidal ponds, water from the Ria, natural food and hands that know every pond. This is how a different sea bream is raised.
Four practices
The earthen ponds lie just a few metres from the sea. Salt water flows in and out naturally with the tide, in a stable, well-oxygenated environment close to the wild.
Seaweed, small molluscs and invertebrates live naturally in the tidal ponds and form part of the fish's diet. A complete ecosystem, not just a pond.
We never exceed 3 kg of fish per cubic metre of water. More space means less stress, more natural growth and greater quality in every fish.
The harvest is done with nets, in the ponds themselves, by people who know every tidal pond. A simple practice that keeps the fish intact right up to the last moment.

From above
Seen from the air, the shoal rises to the surface and the water changes texture. It is one of the moments of the day when you best grasp how much life a tidal pond can hold.
Caught today
Every fish leaves the water
in the hands of those who raised it.
